Kathleen & Karl Kirchner
June 6, 2020
I have known Kathleen since I was little. Her dad was the choir director at our Church for a long time and I grew up running around choir practices while my mom sang. Her family has been longtime family friends of ours and whenever they asked me to photograph their wedding I was beyond excited and honored!! Her dad loves photography as well and actually was the first person to let me use a "big girl camera" when I was just 7 years old. Could even say that jumpstarted my love of photography!
This backyard wedding was gorgeous and the most perfect backyard wedding Kathleen & Karl could've asked for. The sun was shining bright on a Louisiana Summer Day, the heat was blaring which made the ceremony short and sweet! It had a beautiful arch with flowers done by Leslie Wilde Designs and Music by her brother and best friend. Their twin children were the ring bearer and flower girl, making the day even more special. Her sister-in-law wrote a beautiful poem and her dad gave a speech. Everyone had a special part in this day and she was surrounded by their closest friends and family.
