Haley & Brian
August 27, 2021

Wow. I cannot believe my time with these two has actually come to an end. I went to high school with Haley and when she inquired a little over a year ago for me to photograph her wedding, I was shocked to say the least. I was definitely not a well known photographer back then and was veryyyyyy green when it came to shooting weddings.
But boy am I glad that she did because we have become amazing friends! I photographed their engagements, engagement party, Haley's bridals and their wedding. But let's talk about their wedding. Because WOW. lots going on and it still went off without a hitch!
Where do I start? How about we start with the Category 4 Hurricane heading straight towards Louisiana. So as Friday rolled around, the day of the wedding, it was storming, people were evacuating, people were trying to go to the grocery store to get last minute necessities... and we were trying to get to the Church to get these two hitched.
Regardless of the rain and impending doom, we had an amazing day with the two most amazing people! Haley made the most beautiful bride surrounded by all of her friends and family, meanwhile Brian looked as handsome as ever hanging out with all of his friends moments before he said I do. The ceremony was in the beautiful Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We bussed over to the Reception at the Old State Capitol where we danced the night away including a surprise jam out session with Haley and her dad.
I am in love with these pictures and love these two more! I hope you get to relive the day through these photos because it was certainly one for the books!
